Having started her career in Estonian journalism over a decade ago, Eleen brings to META a deep understanding of the media landscape, international experience, and a solid knowledge base from the world of growth companies. This enables her to help clients craft communication that is both clear and purpose-driven.

As a Baltic-American Freedom Foundation fellow, she spent a year in Silicon Valley, gaining firsthand insight into the growing pains and triumphs of early-stage startups – an experience that has shaped her career ever since. For the past four years, Eleen led the tech business publication DigiPRO under the Geenius media group, transforming it into Estonia’s leading outlet focused on the IT sector and startups.

Eleen feels most at home in the realms of technology and business. Her background in startups and in-house communications teams gives her a holistic view of how to align message strategy with an organisation’s bigger picture. Her strengths lie in creative and strategic thinking: she excels at translating complex topics into accessible narratives and turning “outside-the-box” ideas into actionable outputs.

This mindset also inspired her to launch the talk series Õhtu Geeniusega (“An Evening with a Genius”) during her time at DigiPRO. The series blended stand-up comedy and startups, creating a relaxed environment for Estonia’s startup community to discuss pressing issues openly.
