Erik’s role is to assist META’s consultants and clients. Prior to joining META, he worked in highly regulated sectors, such as companies in the defense industry and in the prevention of money laundering in the financial sector. These experiences provided a strong background in taking into account all the nuances of regulations in very complex projects. His passion is in keeping abreast of new developments in technology, communication, and politics, and to find ways to apply this knowledge for the benefit of our clients. Erik is interested in the potential of machine learning and artificial intelligence in making everyday work more efficient. Erik graduated from King’s College London with a degree in War Studies, which gave him a strong foundation and wide overview of the crossroads of domestic and foreign policy, international law, and technology. Among others, Erik supports the communication activities of HKScan and Bayer.
